About The Role

This role is part of the Global Partnerships team which plays a key role in our global strategy and growth, and rapidly accelerates it. We partner with the world’s leading media owners, agencies and industry bodies to provide them with a competitive advantage using our market research tools and data, and by creating globally relevant marketing thought leadership together.

We also collaborate within System1. We work closely with our Research and Marketing Science teams to create credible, entertaining, impactful thought leadership. We work closely with our commercial teams to generate qualified new business leads and make our testing and data easier to sell. We work closely with marketing to generate owned and earned media reaching millions of marketers.

There are a lot of “industry thought leaders” and “thought leadership” out there. We have a clear definition of what it really means to lead the industry. With a legacy of industry thought leaders creating dramatic global impact that marketers benefit from. Including our founder John Kearon, Orlando Wood (Author of Lemon and Look out), Jon Evans (The Uncensored CMO) and Andrew Tindall (author of our most recent thought leadership and the SVP of Global Partnerships).

What will you be doing?

  • You will coordinate and deliver our marketing thought leadership.
  • Work closely with the Global Partnerships SVP and VP to turn thought leadership objectives into clear learning and research plans.
  • Project manage all global thought leadership, working collaboratively with the Marketing Science and Research teams to deliver research to the expectations of our external partners in a timely manner, to budget.
  • Expertly bring different data, research, and points of view into a clear narrative.
  • Brief internal teams, share plans clearly with partners and manage expectations. Seamless manage communications between all departments.
  • Go above and beyond where needed to ensure our research is truly industry leading.
  • Support in the creation of presentations and assets.
  • Inputting on writing thought leadership.
  • Working with commercial teams on strategy and growing into the role to present research to clients.

You need to have the following experience:

  • 2+ Years experience in marketing or advertising with clear exposure to research and insights.
  • Experience with turning data into actionable insights with a clear narrative.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Preferred higher level education in marketing, and exposure to marketing comms workstreams.
