About The Role
This role is part of the Global Partnerships team which plays a key role in our global strategy and growth, and rapidly accelerates it. We partner with the world’s leading media owners, agencies and industry bodies to provide them with a competitive advantage using our market research tools and data, and by creating globally relevant marketing thought leadership together.
We also collaborate within System1. We work closely with our Research and Marketing Science teams to create credible, entertaining, impactful thought leadership. We work closely with our commercial teams to generate qualified new business leads and make our testing and data easier to sell. We work closely with marketing to generate owned and earned media reaching millions of marketers.
There are a lot of “industry thought leaders” and “thought leadership” out there. We have a clear definition of what it really means to lead the industry. With a legacy of industry thought leaders creating dramatic global impact that marketers benefit from. Including our founder John Kearon, Orlando Wood (Author of Lemon and Look out), Jon Evans (The Uncensored CMO) and Andrew Tindall (author of our most recent thought leadership and the SVP of Global Partnerships).

What will you be doing?
- You will have two objectives. One, deliver globally relevant marketing thought leadership with our media partners. Two, activate our thought leadership with our commercial team to ensure it makes our products and data easier to sell.
- Responible for delivering globally relevant marketing thought leadership with the world’s largest media owners, agencies, and industry bodies.
- Work closely with our Research and Marketing Science team to ensure it delivers to the objectives and narratives set by the Global Partnerships SVP and our partners. Supported by a Global Partnership manager that delivers the research plan.
- Be a strategy resource to our new business and account management team to activate the thought leadership. Creating assets for them to use it at scale to win and grow business, training and planning with them. You will also “wow” our largest clients at key moments presenting the full thought leadership as an expert.
- Work closely with our Marketing team to support our owned and earned media strategy globally.

- Well organized, and can move multiple projects forward whilst keeping everyone aligned.
You need to have the following experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience in marketing roles with clear exposure to strategy, planning, research and comms.
- Experience with turning data actionable into insights with a clear narrative.
- Experience presenting or pitching directly to marketers and/or agencies.
- Preferred higher level education in marketing or experience creating marketing narrative, research, strategy presentations or thought leadership.
