With the unemployment figures sky-high thanks to Covid-19, it’s not surprising to see job hunting apps and sites make a play for attention at the Super Bowl. First-time game day advertiser Indeed is among them, and produces a strong effort for a newcomer. The trap big game newbies often fall into is to say too much about the brand and too little about the human needs it satisfies.
But Indeed puts people first, with a series of snapshots of users at different stages of their search – which doubles as a whistle-stop tour of the app’s features. It makes job-seeking seem easier and makes the brand feel on your side, which is almost certainly why it ends up at 4.3-Stars – impressive given how stressful and scary the topic is.
