Our opinion

One of the best things about Fluent Devices and recurring characters is that even if you ditch one, you can bring it back and get a big boost to Happiness.

That’s what E-Trade do with their baby mascot who hasn’t been seen since 2014 (when he resigned in disgust at being replaced by a cat). Now the baby is back, with the whole ad themed around his being tempted back to action.

Self referential? Sure. But it works – a 4.1 Star result, excellent for a fintech brand.
