What will you be doing?

You will lead Business Development within the US, which is our number 1 global market, through leveraging our market leading product range, our thought leadership, partnerships with media and creative agencies and fame building activities to convert major US accounts. By leading a Business Development team, you will be covering a range of inbound, outbound and media partnerships. The ultimate goal of this role is to increase interest and fame of System1 Group in the US!


  • Build new business development capability in the US through people, processes, and plans.
  • Responsible for leading pitch processes for major opportunities in the US.
  • Identify how we leverage the annual fame building calendar of thought leadership and events.
  • Work closely with our Global partnerships team to execute local partnerships and generate leads through their customer base.
  • Utilising our best processes and sales materials to support leads and transition new accounts to our expand team for future growth.
  • Work closely with the Head of Expand US – transitioning accounts to scale ups.



You need to be this kind of person:

  • Exceptional relationship building skills at all levels including peer to peer relationships globally.
  • Persuasive selling skills, pitching, developing proposals and closing deals.
  • A ‘make it happen’ mindset, driving results and taking ownership of the collective success in the US.
  • A balance of the ability to be hands on while being part of a bigger global team
  • Entrepreneurial approach and ability.


You need to have the following experience:

  • Good understanding of the advertising industry – how adverts get made, aired, and you can speak the language of creatives.
  • Good understanding of advertising effectiveness and the tools used to measure effectiveness. well versed in theory and research techniques
  • As the leader and Senior Manager, you will be good at collaborating and team building across the organisation to leverage the resources we have.
  • Coaching teams to be successful.
  • Can demonstrate success dramatically growing revenues.
  • Leading pitches and winning new business.
  • Client-side experience of making and testing advertising would be beneficial in this role.
