Rare to see a perfume ad in the FeelMore50, as the arty approach most of them take is a turn-off for viewers. Congratulations to Ralph Lauren, then, for using its Christmas ad to tell the story of a bear nervously preparing for a party. It’s a gentle ad, free of dialogue but still full of emotion, and captures a little-seen side of party season with elegance and charm.
