Amazon is sending its love down the well in this enjoyable Lassie spoof, which subtly contrasts Alexa’s instant understanding of its owner’s commands with Lassie’s not-quite-so-translatable barks. A happy ending for the luckless Timmy is implied, which is just as well – many an ad fails to engage because it leaves things unresolved.
