Christmas is a time when smaller brands can make ads that shine, especially if they draw on the shared iconography of the season – Rudolph, Santa, elves, and the rest. That’s the route taken by Dobbies garden centre chain, with its fairytale about a “tenth reindeer”. The only risk is that the ad might not be especially distinctive – this had one of the lowest short-term Spike scores in the FeelMore50, as people loved the story but didn’t really connect it to a brand.Back To All
